Post India, we hear you.

Read this book already a few years ago and thought it extremely funny. I remember silently "reading" it with an Indian accent. Perhaps it was just me, remembering Peter Sellers, or... did Phil Whitaker deliberately write it with an Indian accent :-) Other readers out there with the same experience ?

Default Return to India

I picked up a copy of this on the strength of Freak of Nature. It's not as laugh-out-loud funny but it's very humorous. It's a wonderfully warm story too. And, yeah, I think Whitaker definitely 'wrote' it in a different way - the patterns and rhythms seemed to create an atmosphere of India. It made me feel I was back there.

Another great read!
